Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Christmas Countdown: Santa ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The App
Christmas Countdown: Santa provides a Christmas countdown, a bundled Advent calendar, a personal wish list, language options, and related festive features. "Santa Claus" is used as the public-domain folk figure only. The App is not affiliated with any film studio, brand, or licensed character franchise.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Your content
Wish list items and similar entries you create are your content. You are responsible for them. Do not enter illegal, harmful, or infringing material. Content is stored on your device and is not moderated by us.
4. Advertising
The App may show third-party ads (banner, interstitial, native, and app-open) via Google AdMob. Ad content is provided by advertising partners and is not under our editorial control beyond configuration options we set in the advertising SDK.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law
- Attempt to interfere with ads or security
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
6. Intellectual property
The App's design, original text, code, and branding elements are owned by us or our licensors. System fonts and third-party SDKs remain subject to their own licenses. You may not copy Advent text or other original content for commercial redistribution.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." Countdown timing depends on your device clock and time zone. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount required by applicable law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.
9. Termination
These Terms apply until you stop using the App or we discontinue it. We may stop offering the App or change features at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations) will survive.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
