Christmas Countdown: Santa ("the App") is provided by the developer of this application ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
1. Summary
The App is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not operate a backend that collects personal profiles for countdown, Advent, wish list, or language features.
2. Information stored on your device
The App may store the following locally on your device (for example via on-device preferences storage):
- Language preference
- Advent calendar progress (which doors you have opened)
- Your personal wish list entries
This information stays on your device unless you delete the App or clear its data. We do not upload wish list content or Advent progress to our own servers.
3. Information we do not collect ourselves
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location to use core features. We do not run our own analytics SDK.
4. Advertising
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, native, and app-open formats) on certain screens. Advertising partners may collect or process device identifiers and related technical data under their own privacy policies in order to deliver and measure ads.
Where ads are shown, we configure child-directed treatment and a G-rated maximum ad content rating where supported by the advertising SDK.

5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by:
- Apple or Google for distribution, ratings, and store listings
- Google (AdMob) when ads are shown
6. Children's privacy
The App is intended for a general family audience, including children, and is designed without accounts or social features. Parents and guardians should review device and store privacy settings. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a channel we control, contact us via the Support page or the App Store / Play Store listing support options and we will take appropriate steps.
7. Data retention and deletion
Local preferences and wish list data remain until you remove them in the App (where available), clear app storage, or uninstall the App.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
